Its pale violet standards lighten to near white, accented by violet streaks. The falls boast a white base veiled in a grey- green haze, punctuated by a bold brownish-black signal. As an arilbred iris, a cross between an aril iris and a bearded iris, it has the former's exotic look but can grow in most climates.
